Photo Album - Be Cool Car Show Bay City/Essexville - 2004
Our heartfelt thanks to Roger Rosebush owner of Be Cool. The day was a beautiful sunny day in downtown Bay City on 7/10/2004. MCMM helped and got credit for it via store posters and billboards on I-75. If you want to go to a real nice car show this has to rank up towards the top. There is plenty to do with shopping at neat stores and GREAT Antique shops, there is also the river to sit and enjoy. Next year do not miss this one! While we were outnumbered by 8 to 1 in cars we prevailed in team spirit. The Bay Corvette club had many beautiful cars as this is their 3rd or 4th year and they use it as the main yearly show. A real nice group of people and cars. Many attractions during the day at Center and Washington Streets kept the crowd entertained. MCMM had 4 eager volunteers to compete in the "pit stop" competition. They were Mike Winter, Michael Winter, Chris Jensen and Dominic Glasgow. This team was to compete in a Chinese Fire Drill, tire change and a service station stop where oil and water added, tire pressure checked and added, windows were washed and gas tank filled. Our Team Mustang won, are you ready, ALL THREE EVENTS! and were each awarded a nice Olympic style medal. MCMM competed against the Bay Corvette Club and members of the Honda Goldwing Club. The announcer did a great job all day taking jabs at all three especially between the blue oval and bowties. See pictures below on the festivities. We met and talked with many new and old friends during the day and have included pictures of their cars. We hope to see them again soon and maybe at our meetings.
